Welcome to our little Hobby Farm....
Welcome to the home of the Skinny Rabbit Ranch. Our goal is to live in harmony on our small 5 acre parcel of land with healthy happy animals, and garden.... hopefully raising 75 percent of our annual food requirements as organically as possible. It is not going to be easy, but the "husband" of this team is just too stubborn to fail. He is lucky to have found the most supportive wife on the earth... If you don't believe it then you need to come and see for yourself.
We are Currently learning how to raise Chickens, Flemish Giant Rabbits and a loving yet challenging Siberian Wolf hybrid. Our giants were very hard to get our hands on, but our breeding stock is now in place! We have Birds "Free" ranging on our land and our Giants are happy in their new hutches. The 100 bird Chicken house/ Rabbit and chicken run project is going to start in late august, and the location for the Greenhouse has been picked for spring construction..... We are very excited to see that the backyard chicken movement is becoming a reality in rural areas, and will have ready to use 10-15 bird coops ready in kit form in the very near future. Follow us along as we work hard to turn our small parcel of land into a prosperous food supply....
